Family Camp a perennial favourite at Medley

Family Camp a perennial favourite at Medley

Ashley Perry of Moncton remembers exactly when she began attending Family Camp at Camp Medley. It was four years ago.

“That was the year I got sober,” she said. “Mom brought the kids before that.”

Now she attends each year. She’d been a Medley camper since childhood, what she calls “a lifer.”

Saint John Seafarers’ Mission

This review is from a seafarer of these butterscotch squares, a treat regularly dropped off by a generous donor.

Sweet treats like this help seafarers feel at home when they are visiting the Saint John Seafarers' Mission and let them know that people in Saint John care about them.

Want to join in? We would be grateful if you would support seafarers by providing treats as well. You can do this in two ways:
1. You can bake some treats like squares or cookies and drop them off at the Saint John Seafarers' Mission on 92 Tilley Lane. Please call us at (506) 635-1731 to arrange a drop-off time.

2. You can donate money to help fill our Free Snack Rack to provide seafarers with chips, candy, pop, small souvenirs, and toiletries by clicking this link.

Over the course of the weekend, we’ll hear from our bishops, clergy, and lay leaders about the diverse ways people live out their callings — in lay ministry, religious orders, the diaconate, and priesthood. You’ll hear real stories of discernment, have time to reflect, ask the big questions and pray together.

The cost is $50/person. Preregistration is required, and spaces are limited. Hosted at Villa Madonna Retreat House, meals and accommodation included.
