Archbishop David and Debbie Edwards will fly to the UK on Thursday and will be there until Jan. 4. On Monday David's father, Jack, became ill and has been hospitalized with apparent cardiac issues. There is not yet a diagnosis.
We invite your prayers for Jack, for his wellbeing and healing; and for David and Debbie as they travel and spend time with his father.
This turn of events means the bishop will not be at Christ Church Cathedral for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day or New Year's Day services.
David, Debbie,
May the grace and willingness of our Lord Jesus bring Jack through these health challenges and restore him to good health. May the time you spend together be blessed with peace and with joy.
May travel blessings be with you both, going and coming.
In Christ's name and in His power.
Praying 🙏🏾 for Jack, the Bishop and the entire family for healing, peace and the joy of the Lord.
