The Bishop of Fredericton seeks to appoint a full-time incumbent to the Parish of the Six Saints in the Diocese of Fredericton. The parish is looking for a rector with a deep, personal commitment to our Lord Jesus Christ, the preaching and teaching of his Word, and the offering of his Sacraments to lead us in ministry.

The Parish the Six Saints is a multi-point parish, primarily located in the southwest part of and beyond the City of Moncton, New Brunswick. The church buildings are: St George’s, St James’, and St Andrew’s in Moncton; St Mary's, Hillsborough; and St Alban's, Riverside-Albert.

On average Sunday, they have around 150 parishioners across all points of the parish. Regular Sunday services are typically a Eucharist using either the BCP or BAS liturgies. Six Saints’ has three deacons and nine licensed layreaders (parochial and diocesan) to assist with leading services and preaching.

The parish offers Sunday School, VBS, and the Alpha Course; and Saint Mary’s hosts a monthly dinner for about 60 to 80 people, inviting people from the community; the parish has a missional focus and is very outward looking.

Expressions of interest will be considered as they arrive.  Please include:

  • A written statement of about 500 words outlining why they are being called to explore this opportunity.
