This service provides an opportunity for ordained and all licensed lay ministers (evangelists and layreaders) to reaffirm their commitment to their appointed ministries and to have oil blessed for use in the coming year.

Clergy are encouraged to bring oils for the bishop's blessing and place the filled stocks on the provided table before the service. Oil or Chrism is available from the Cathedral supply at any time throughout the year upon request.
